Completion Award

Upon successfully completing EMCO101, students will be awarded a certificate of completion and will have the option to take the HAM Radio Technician License exam on the same day or schedule it for a later date.

Exam Requirements:

Before you can take the Ham Radio Technician License exam, you must obtain an FCC Registration Number (FRN). The FRN is a unique identifier assigned by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to track your license and any related transactions. Obtaining your FRN before the exam is essential to ensure a smooth registration process and avoid delays on test day.
